Church Road, North Woodchester, Glos GL5 5PD  (SO 840027)

GraveTalk is a new Church of England initiative giving people a chance to discuss death, dying and funerals in a positive and informal forum. Everyone sits round tables in small groups, drinking coffee, eating cake and discussing a series of relevant questions printed on cards. At the end of the meeting, information is provided for people to take away to help them pull together their own ideas and preferences afterwards, if they’d like to.

The main intention is to help people understand what kind of things they need to think about and what options they might want to consider in the event of their own death or one of their loved ones. This then means one less thing for a bereaved family to worry about.

If you’d like to come on June 17th please contact: Liz Cole (01453 872287) or Helen Jackson (01453 827962). The Undercroft will be open and the kettle on any time from 10.00 am. Coffee and homemade cake will be served and we expect to start discussions at 10.30 with everything wrapping up by 11.30.

If this first event is well received we will organise other similar sessions in the future.
